Multi tabling is an art you master after playing for a while to be well acquainted with the game hence if you do not have enough experience in poker, you might find it difficult to offer propping services. You may also be required to know how to play all the types of games in order to help.
You also need to be a flexible player in that you can move from one game to the other without problems. As a prop you will be expected to start and join games anytime, so you should be in a position to do so. It is not guaranteed that you will play the game you have started from start to finish. Some people do like playing with props even if you are skilled but want to play with players like them so be prepared for that too.
To be a prop, you must have signed in as a player to the poker room and paid rake. Rake is the amount of money you are required to pay in order to be allowed to play in any poker room. This is what you are going to earn from as a prop hence being a prop does not mean that you join and play free of charge. There are benefits such as bonuses which you might miss out if you work as a prop so if you are interested in your bonuses you may as well forget about the prop thing.
